Epic tools online business

If you are running an online business chance are you will need additional systems in place to run your business smoothly.

Not to mention that this is an additional stress with finding your clients while also maintaining a business.

Today I will be sharing with you three epic tools that are FREE to use to start off from the ground with the potential of upgrading when your business as reach that stage.

Epic tool #1 for your online business

Most of you may know that I am not US based if not, you can know more about me and my journey through here in this previous post.

From day one you will want to start off with having a payment provider in place. This means you will be accepting payments from anywhere in the world. A lot of persons have recommended using PayPal because of instantly getting paid.

It’s also well known and received worldwide. But with being an international business and fees associated with having received payment, wouldn’t you want an alternative that has minimum fees?

I have been using the Payoneer platform from day one when I started out as a freelancer. The good thing about using this platform is that it is connected directly with my local bank.

While I do use Paypal as well to receive payments the disadvantage is that I have to send a cheque to my country and it does not connect to my local bank. Not to mention the fees associated.

While using Payoneer on the other hand you are allowed to increase your earnings by reducing your payment fees by up to 71%. This means that once you receive a payment you are only charged 1% of the total amount.

What does this mean for you? You can accept payments in USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, AUD & CAD – and transferred to your own local bank account! Once you sign up you get a FREE $25 for joining

International virtual assistants or business that are not US, Canadian or European based do not have to directly send a cheque for weeks upon weeks to be sent to their local post office then to deposit to their bank.

This is one epic tool that I recommend you have, to start accepting payments for your business once you are online.

Epic tool #2 for your online business

Once you have clients or even customers you know that managing sensitive information is a priority. If you use your bank online, shop online or even accept payments anywhere, you know you need to have secure passwords.

Using your birthdays, or your name does not cut it for these hackers online. LastPass is also free to join. It allows you to secure your passwords in a vault as well as suggest recommended passwords for your sites you visit.

The only thing you will need to remember is your secure password to secure your vault. With anything that is of importance to you namely your business, you would have put measures in place to make sure it’s secure.

Having LastPass as your trusted password manager is no different and it’s always best to use the vault when accessing the site so you not are tricked in visiting phishing sites that pretend to be secure when browsing the net.

Epic tool #3 for your online business

If you send emails like me or even write a blog post like this one. You are bound to make mistakes. First impressions are everything!

Whether you are writing a simple hello to a friend or that prospective client you will want your Grammar to be in check! Grammarly does just that and more!

Even if you are a native English speaker, not even a speaker of English, once you run a business offline and especially online you know that this tool is a keeper.

Instant Grammar Checker - Correct all grammar errors and enhance your writing.

It auto corrects everything! I love using this tool as well because it helps with grammatical errors, sentence structure, and the list goes on and on.

Check it out and see the difference it will make when you send that next email.

There you have it! The 3 epic tools you should definitely start off with when starting your online business.

It was nice of you to stop by.

Until then, happy hiring, and best wishes for your business.

Have you started your online business?

Or are you thinking of starting your online business but do not know where to start with some additional income?

If you answered yes to any of the above this post is for you!

Your Passive income strategy for this month

As a virtual assistant who have worked with clients in the past and have no clients as well. I had to find ways to be creative in having additional income for when I do not have any clients.

In the past I have mentioned my recommendations that I have used in the previous year for my passive income. You can have a look at my previous post on how to work less and create passive income for your business base on my recommendations.

Now, I would be recommending five different affiliate programmes that I think that as an online business owner that you can benefit from as well.

So what is this passive income?

I have always kind of define it in my own words, but I am making it simple by saying that if you have a business, a side job or need additional income, this passive income is a way to make additional cash without having to put in much effort.

If anything that I would want you to take away from this post is to make sure you do your research as well as what will work for you and your business.

You can join affiliate programmes from companies that are already established or you can start by creating your own series of products that can be PDF guides or even videos.

Your Passive income recommendation for this month

I would start off by saying if you are a new entrepreneur or blogger who do not have the time to start creating your products from scratch you can join companies that are established and have a good record of a good payment system.

This means if they pay out through Paypal, direct bank deposit, or give away coupons, its best to know how you will be paid upfront before you sign on. You also want to make sure that you join a company that will reflect the kind of income that you want to achieve for the month as well.

I would start off by mentioning that some of the times you could be over looking services and products that you use on a daily basis that could have allowed you on making income already.

I would point out one mistake that I had been doing all wrong from the get go when I was online. I have always been buying products or items online and because I love to shop a lot online that there were sites that reward you for shopping online.

Ebates Coupons and Cash Back

I was on another bloggers site who mentioned that EBATES gave you rewards for shopping online. All you need to do is sign up with the link provided (It’s FREE to do so) and you will be rewarded with a $10 bonus.

All you need to do is sign up with the link provided (It’s FREE to do so) and you will be rewarded with a $10 bonus.

From there you can add and shop your favourite sites and activate the cash back when doing so. You can have a look at EBATES to see what I am referring to.

While I see other bloggers or entrepreneurs like to recommend joining Amazon or Google AdSense. I want to suggest an alternative. These I think are very hard requirements in terms of if you have been blogging for awhile and base on your social media following.

Not saying that you can’t join these sites but if you are starting out I would wait until you have been blogging for awhile.

I recommend joining ShareASale as I think this is a better alternative in my opinion because once you fill out the form honestly you can hear from this site within 2-3 business days.

All you do from there is search for merchants which has a wide list of merchants to choose from. Once you are approved from these merchants you can start sharing and earning at the same time.

I have recently joined two merchants from the ShareASale site. While I can join more if I want to I choose to mention these two and my decision to do so. I am also a virtual assistant that has a fashion twist to my business so I am sure you would know that the categories that I chose more to be affiliated with are fashion and jewelry.

I chose to go with Zaful a clothing company that offers to sell affordable clothing and delivers worldwide. I also see this as a win-win for my second business as I am also branching out as a stylist.

Zaful Striped Fashion: Details to Win You Over

I have been creating outfits via Polyvore (Now named Ssense) and this will also come in handy for both my business when someone, more than likely a client purchases from the link that I recommend.

The reason for this as I had stated that in most instances you could be shopping from these sites and your friends or families as well could be using these sites and you could benefit from earning a commission from these sites.

The second site that I have been using is Stella & Dot as women we love us some jewelry, and we do love deals when they do happen on items that we have been dying for to go on a sale.

This is where I have been thinking along the line of when purchasing products for myself or friends you can use Ebates to earn cash back while also earning a commission from these sites that you love to visit and shop once someone clicks and buys from these sites that you have recommended.

How to Promote your Passive income for this month

I cannot tell you how easy this can be done if you have started your business and have a blog. I am doing this now by having a blog post on how to earn passive income for this month.

I have also included my recommendations as well as let you know through this post that if you need more recommendations for passive income that they can be found on my sidebar or footer of my website.

If you are a seasoned entrepreneur and have a social following you can promote your links through your social media sites. Once you have made a post you can be sure that if you recommend these products you earn a commission once a sale is made when someone has clicked on your link and have purchased an item from such a site.

Another way of promoting these links are pinning through Pinterest. I separated this social media platform to show you how I have tied in creating outfits on Polyvore and then driving traffic from Pinterest for customers to visit.

If you are into fashion like myself and have been creating outfits via Polyvore(Now named Ssense) you can have your recommended sites with these pieces that you have created via these sets. So, in other words, you are creating sets with sponsored links of items that you recommend from these fashion sites.

Another way of promoting your link is by sharing what you think about such a product. This can be done via a video that can be uploaded via your Youtube channel or doing reviews on your social sites or through your blog post.

Lastly, if you have an email list you can share with your readers the recommendations of your products. The good thing about having your email list is that these individuals who follow you will more than likely trust what you have to say and will make a decision to make a purchase.

So now that you are aware of how you can make passive income for your business this month. I would like to hear your thoughts on which ones you will be using soon.

It was nice of you to stop by.

Grow your email list to let clients know about you from day one.

grow your email list

I am growing my email list…are you?

Today I wanted to share with you an achievement, that I have accomplished in a short period of time. This is growing my email list. Mind you, if you have been following my blog, you will eventually know that I had so many fears but yet I wanted to achieve my goals and let my ideal clients know more about me.

This cannot be done if I don’t start even if it’s baby steps. I will share more on growing my list. I know from awhile when I started my business that other persons were giving away their free guides, cheat sheet, something that grabbed my attention to join their list.

My fear in itself was what would I give away and secondly, will anyone sign up?

As a virtual assistant, I know that I had so much to share but didn’t know what method to use or how to come across sharing what I knew in the short time.

How to start growing your email list as well?

I was in numerous Facebook groups, so I decided to ask questions, each time when I ask questions, I would save these answers in a spreadsheet. From those answers, I was able to decide what I would share.

I went ahead and decided that because when I started out, I didn’t know that there were so many tools and systems that I could use in my business, and so this is where I decided to share these tools that I too discovered.

Knowing how I love Canva, I started to create my guide and sign up with MailChimp to use as my auto-responder to deliver this guide. My first goal was as always to add value to these groups that I was in and to see how these women who were my target would be receptive to my guide.

I shared and gave these women a preview of my guide and when I saw within a day of sharing that these women were interested in my guide, I started to promote on all social media platforms that I was on.

I didn’t limit my free guide to just being in Facebook groups, I invited others to know that I was offering an awesome guide and they too would benefit from their business with having the knowledge of using these tools.

Test your market to see what they want.

Now, you might be saying, what was I scared of all the time? I had two free guides, one where I had a short preview of my main guide that was the extended version to display on my website, because I did not have my website out as yet, my fear was would they gravitate to the extended version of the free guide that I had?

Can I tell you that, in these groups that I am in, on Facebook, these groups allowed me to promote on specific days, so I made it my point of duty to share my guide on these days, also in my marketing posts, I also shared how this guide would help these women in the 24 hours they have.

Now, I am no where, where I want to be in terms of my list, but I have since learnt that using these methods can be done when you want to grow your list organically. You do have the option of doing a paid advertising to target more specifically your target market to grow your list faster.

I will share more about that, when I have tried this option. I more importantly want to share with you that, growing your list organically can be done. Yes, it’s hard work but it can be done. I recommend you join groups or target your ideal clients by doing a market research.

When this is done you are better able to create a guide or tutorial base on these results so that your target market can easily sign up to what you are offering. You can also start small by creating your guide via which auto-responder that you prefer to deliver your free gift to your clients or prospective customers.

It was nice of you to stop by.

Until then, happy hiring, and best wishes with your business.
