Have you been sourcing stock photos from the wrong place?

I know you have been wondering where everyone else has received there images on sites such as these or any other website that you have visited.

The thing is if you have been taking pictures from Google or sites that allow you to take images such as free photo sites you run the risk of getting into some trouble.

Now, I don’t want to scare you off by thinking that some of these free stock sites are not legit, but if you do not credit the source or even end up paying for these images some way or not. You could be in some legal trouble in the present or near future.

Here is what I am talking about. Once upon a time a blogger like yourself made the mistake of typing free photos from sites such as Pixaby or Pexels as well as Google images she posted the images on her site and a year later even though she saw that the photo was free, the photographer who uploaded the image to one of those site sent her a cease and desist.

Even though she apologised and took it down she was still liable because she gave no credit or paid for the image that she used. Have you been doing the same as well in the past or presently?

How to have stock photos for you site and social media

Want to use images on your social media platform like everyone else? What about on your website as well? While I recommend using Free and Paid stock photo sites.

The first site that I recommend is Kayla from Ivorymix what makes Kayla’s images stand out is when you become a member for FREE she gifts you 300+ free styled images for FREE when you sign up for her e-mail list.

If you are looking for something more custom made for your branding and business you can purchase these images in the Ivorymix shop for as little at $10 for the month. On top of that you have full access to her library of these images by niche as well as unlimited images.

How to make your site beautiful with stock photos

Now I only recommend the best and I will tell you why its best to become a member of Ivorymix This is one of my favourite subscription platform that I recommend this stock site allows you to use these images and extended licenses without the risk of getting a cease and desist.

These style photos are for most blog and entrepreneurship niches and have colour schemes that can match your branding.

No need to worry about those branded images!

Once you are a member every single month Kayla sends you photos and you have unlimited access to your photo download! These photos are created for most social media platform for editing! This is why I recommend this platform to all my blogging friends.

Lastly, you do not have to search for high quality and high-resolution photos anymore. Now that you are sold on the unlimited value that this platform will give to you and your business, let Kayla know that I referred you.

It was nice of you to stop by.

Until then, happy hiring, and best wishes with your business.

  1. This was such an educational post for me, because some of the images where I needed usually had a watermark on it (which is really annoying). Thank you so much for introducing me to Ivorymix 🙂

  2. This is so cool! I’ve never thought of that before and have always thought I had to take my own shots–which is so time consuming. Thanks for sharing!

  3. I have never used stock photos before because I did not need it. But now I will try it with pleasure. Thank you for a great post. Again:)

  4. This is great information! I will definitely check out IvoryMix. It seems like I spend more time creating my own images than I do writing articles, so this would be a true blessing. Thank you for sharing this.

  5. Yeup I have a subscription to adobe stock and it’s been so useful. It’s really elevated the look of my blog; mind you I do have a professional photographer that takes pictures for my website but when the topics are a little abstract or if I don’t have the time, stock pictures are a Godsend.

  6. I use Pixabay and Pexel. Why do they advertise that they can be used for free then send you a cease and desist letter? Ugh! Thank you for the heads up! I use them a lot and I’m going to go over my post and double check they are listed in the credits.

  7. Nice. Glad I stumbled into this. I usually just get photos from pexel, although I have another subscription that sends stock photos to my email. I haven’t used them yet. Lol

  8. I did tonnnnsss of research on stock photos before launching my blog. I’d heard horror stories so it gave me a chance to learn from their mistakes. Thank you for sharing this!

    1. Sue, it sure is, and very useful for new and seasoned online businesses as well as for those entrepreneurs.
